Woke has partnered with Multicultural NSW to create the Me, My Culture and NSW competition. Their aim was to give an opportunity for young people to celebrate diversity, share their culture and join in combating cultural stereotypes and racism.

'Audition' is a film that explores the racial challenges an actor has to go through to get hired. The film follows a young, ambitious Indian kid who desperately wants to become an actor. At the beginning of the film, he has a nightmare about getting rejected from the audition. When he actually goes to audition, the first casting manager straight up rejects him because of his race, and not because of his talent/skills. The second casting manager then offers him a role as a 711 cashier, but only because of his race, symbolising the cultural stereotypes and stigma around Indians. The kid eventually gets a lead role in an action movie, fulfilling his dream. The last shot of this short film cuts back to the nightmare, but this time he is able to stand up for himself and break the stereotype.
