PHS SRL Behaviour Expectations

At Prairiewood High School, our SRL, or Safe, Respectful Learner program is based on the Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework – a whole-school approach for creating a positive, safe and supportive school climate where students can learn and develop. Our whole school community works together to establish expected behaviours and teach them to all students.

Students are empowered to participate in decision-making through active involvement in the school’s leadership of PBL.

The entire school, including the classrooms, corridors, canteen, school gates and buses/travel, is considered part of the total learning environment.
