SRS is yet another way institutions make early offers using criteria other than or in addition to the ATAR.
School Recommendation Scheme (SRS): close 11.59pm on Monday, 16 September 2024.
Other criteria being:
- your Year 11 results
- your school's rating of your aptitudes and
- EAS (if applicable)
Institutions then make offers based on only SRS, SRS & ATAR/selection rank OR SRS, ATAR and Equity Criteria.
You don’t need to nominate any courses in your SRS application because it is automatically linked to your course preferences in your UAC undergraduate application.
SRS is not available for all courses. Institution specific SRS criteria is published on the UAC website and includes details of course exceptions.

How to apply:
Offers will be based on your course preferences as at 11.59pm on Friday 1 November 2024, unless an earlier date is specified by the institution.
- Submit your UAC undergraduate application.
- Follow the link to the SRS application from the undergraduate application.
- NSW HSC: Check that your Year 11 details are correct. If they’re not correct, submit your SRS application and then contact UAC.
- Accept the declaration.
- Download and check your confirmation of application
NOTE: You can only submit one SRS application.
Nominating your course preferences
You don’t need to nominate any courses in your SRS application because it is automatically linked to your course preferences in your UAC application for undergraduate admission
