The Industrial Technology Metals and Engineering Course develops skills in designing and creating solutions to design challenges using metals, as well as other materials. Students develop skills in welding, brazing, cutting shaping, laser engraving, lathework, sheetmetal and the heat treatment of metals, amongst many other tools and techniques, which enable them to confidently enter the design and metal engineering manufacturing industry. The course is hands-on and project-based, and also involves research into the metal manufacturing industry."
