The LINK Project, run by the University of Sydney's English Department, aims to develop students' critical and creative work for 30 Year 11 Advanced and Extension English students Throughout the 4 on-site workshops, students will have the opportunity to work closely with academic fellows and students from the Department of English across a series of dynamic workshops designed to enrich and enliven their studies in literature, drama, screen studies and creative writing. The Writerly Project aims to increase student confidence in creative writing by: helping them to source subject matter for creative work in their everyday lives; increasing their sense of playfulness with language; expanding their understanding of what constitutes 'legitimate' writing, and, learning to refine and edit their written material with the encouraging support or their mentors.

We, as the whole community of Prairiewood High School, would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the custodians of the land; the Cabrigal Clan of the Darug Nation. While we learn and share knowledge through effort we will also care and look after this great land called Australia.
