Ms Pool is a leader whose 35 years of dedicated service have inspired her school community, led sustainable, equity-driven improvements and fostered a culture of high expectations, collaboration and continuous growth. Her progression from classroom teacher to relieving principal has enabled her to build deep, positive relationships with students, staff, families and the wider community, earning widespread trust and respect. Her evidence-informed and inclusive leadership has transformed learning environments and strengthened school culture. Ms Pool's passion and dedication enhance community confidence in public education and exemplify the very best values of the department.

Congratulations to Ms Curmi for receiving the Ministers's Award for Excellence in Teaching
Ms Curmi's dedication to student success is evident through her outstanding leadership of the Public Speaking and Debating Program for over 10 years, empowering students to excel in communication and leadership. Her coordination of the After School Homework Centre has fostered a welcoming environment that significantly boosts student engagement and academic achievement. As First Nations coordinator, Ms Curmi has demonstrated exceptional initiative by establishing a commitee that strengthens partnerships with families and community groups. Her unwavering committment to enhancing learning outcomes, student wellbeing and community connections continues to benefit her school community.
Lead and Inspire
Ms. L. Parisi participated in the Lead and Aspire Mentoring Program offered by the NSW School Leadership Institute (SLI). This program was designed for current and aspiring school leaders seeking to enhance their mentoring skills.
Participants engaged in a blend of live and on-demand learning, as well as intersessional activities with experienced leaders, fostering professional growth and valuable connections.

Finalist for 2025 Careers Advisers Association (NSW & ACT) - Careers Adviser of the Year
Congratulations to Mrs Evans for being named as a finalist for Careers Adviser of the Year. This was presented by Jason Conroy, Relieving Director Educational Leadership, Cowpasture Region. Mrs Evans was quoted to say "Grateful to serve and support our students every day"
