Transition

At Prairiewood High School, we are proud to be part of the Education Pathways Program, dedicated to ensuring every student has a clear and supported post-school pathway. Our comprehensive transition program is designed to help students confidently navigate the journey from school to further education, training, or employment. Through Start Your Future TAFE taster courses, industry immersion programs, career workshops, and work experience opportunities, students gain valuable insights and practical skills to explore a wide range of career options.

SBAT

Students can undertake School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs) and earn industry qualifications such as White Card, Traffic Controller, and First Aid courses. These certifications provide essential workplace skills and enhance students’ readiness for the workforce. TAFE tours also form part of the program, allowing students to familiarise themselves with post-school education environments. At Prairiewood High School, we are committed to supporting every student to start their future with confidence, skills, and a clear pathway to success.
