Scholarships
Prairiewood High School is proud of its longstanding success in securing a wide range of scholarships for our students, from high academic achievers to those most in need. What sets us apart is our strong network of connections with both private and public education organisations.
We have a rich history of success with the Harding Miller Education Foundation, securing multiple scholarships for our Year 8 girls each year. We also actively engage with the Public Education Foundation to support our Indigenous students, refugee students, and girls pursuing pathways in STEM.
A key highlight is our participation in the USYD Khuda Women in STEM Academy, a two-year program that enables young women from our school to explore real-world STEM. Selected students receive a guaranteed $4,000 per year scholarship, access to a dedicated mentor, an adjusted ATAR for a USYD STEM course, and the opportunity to develop essential skills in problem solving, design thinking, creativity, and leadership.
Our links with the Australian Business and Community Network (ABCN) enable us to nominate students for scholarships that, like Harding Miller, provide tailored tutoring, access to mentors, and financial support for essential technology.
These scholarships do more than ease financial pressure, they create a bridge to greater academic success, personal growth, and access to professional networks that support students well beyond school.
We also educate and guide our Year 12 students on the wide range of scholarships available to them beyond high school, including academic, sporting, community, and equity-based opportunities, ensuring they can pursue university or further study with confidence and support.
At Prairiewood, scholarships are a gateway to lifelong opportunity.
